Busy vs. Productive: Turning Effort into Real Progress
8 September 2026
Online: 2PM - 3PM BST
“I’m busy all day… but am I actually achieving anything?”
Being busy doesn’t always mean you are making progress.
So, in this inspirational and interactive Kataholos session, Michael Quigley will explore how you can separate genuine progress from constant activity and distraction.
You’ll discover advanced time-management techniques and new ways to measure value, effectiveness, progress and attainment. Michael will share examples from growing his international business, working across two languages and a recent charity project.
The session will also include two extended breakout-room activities, giving you the opportunity to discuss, share your knowledge and enjoy learning with your fellow RBI professionals.
Learning objectives
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Distinguish between being busy and genuinely productive
- Apply advanced techniques to manage your time, attention and priorities
- Use different measures of value, effectiveness, progress and attainment
