CEO: End Of Year Video Message 2025

Mirroring the behaviours of younger generations, I thought I’d ask ChatGPT what a CEO ‘end of year’ video message should contain.
Unlike said “younger generations”, I omitted to do this prior to recording mine, and only thought of it upon signing off the final edit.
I was told a typical message often includes:
- Warm opening and appreciation
- Summary of important accomplishments
- Recognition of team effort
- Honest acknowledgment of challenges
- Vision for the coming year
- Encouraging closing remarks and well-wishes.
And so, I believe I ticked most of the boxes.
More generally, I then asked whether I SHOULD record a CEO ‘end of year’ message.
ChatGPT said “Yes, if it’s done simply and well.”
On all counts, I’ll let you be the judge…
